I've always been swimwear obsessed. But at 5'2" with a small band and a bigger cup, finding a bikini that actually fitted felt near impossible. Clasp backs were out of the question, and most styles would sag, gape or fade after one summer. After time in Australia surrounded by brilliant swimwear, I decided to start the brand I'd always wished existed.

When I started Zigi I did all the branding myself, and honestly I loved it, but I always knew it had more to give. Then we moved to a new manufacturer to level up our bikinis and perfect the fits, so the look needed to catch up too.

Old Zigi was laid-back palm tree living, your easy go-to bikini that made you never want to leave the island. New Zigi takes you from Bali in the winter to euro summer. She knows she's making an impression, but won't throw it in your face. We've got our own signature prints, a palette that reflects our world, and since most of you call us Zigi anyway, that's the name we've leaned into.

The fabric

Our new recycled fabric is honestly our most luxurious yet. It's thick, amazingly stretchy and cinches you in in all the right places, so it feels as good as it looks. It's also OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified, which means it's been tested for harmful substances.

What hasn't changed

  • Every style is adjustable, because your bikini should fit you, not the other way round.
  • A portion of every order still goes to Coral Gardeners to adopt coral and help restore reefs.
  • We still make fewer, better pieces, designed to last summer after summer.

Where it's made

Our 2027 collection is made with our manufacturing partner in Dongguan, China, chosen because they could finally give us the fit and finish we'd been chasing. I'm visiting the factory in January, and I'll share all of it with you.

Adjust your bikini, not your body.
